It’s never too early to reserve your Christmas dinner at the Castle Of Comfort to celebrate the festive season. Steve and Wendy have put together their traditional and truly loved menu for 2011 consisting of a tasty selection of starters and main courses to suit all palates including desserts and coffee to finish. Starters

Plum tomato & sweet basil soup with crusty bread.

Pan fried Garlic mushrooms served with crusty bread.

Smoked Salmon & prawn cocktail.

Melon and Palma Ham.

Main Courses

Traditional roast turkey and trimmings.

Baked Cod with cherry tomatoes, basil & mozzarella.

Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding.

Duck breast with cranberry & port sauce.

Rump steak cooked to your liking, supplement (£2.50).

Stuffed Butternut Squash filled with peppers,

tomatoes, beans, pumpkin.

All served with roast and new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Duck & Orange pate’ with chutney & toast.

Main Courses

Traditional roast turkey and trimmings.

Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding.

Whole Sea Bass Baked with fresh herbs & white wine.

Goats cheese en croute’ (v).

All served with fresh seasonal vegetables & potatoes

Deserts

Traditional Christmas pudding. Profiteroles with chocolate sauce. Mixed fruit sherry trifle. Spiced apple creme brulee.
